Terry “Beefcake” Reeves came onto our radar as the pilot of an SVT Lightning truck that ran quick e.t.’s at the drag strip. Over the years he has run a number of different project cars—from Taurus SHOs to Cobras—at Ford races across the country. Eventually, the full-time Ford new-car salesman launched his own aftermarket parts sales company, Team Beefcake Racing.

Who doesn’t love a good double entendre? Now if you aren’t a photographer, you might not get this dude’s shirt. You see, camera RAW is a digital camera image format that allows more post-shot tweaking than your more traditional formats because it packs a lot of photographic information into a large file size. These files are not ready for use, and must be processed first, so some think of them as the digital equivalent of film negatives.

After its debut, the Shelby GT500 didn’t just take jabs from Brand X owners. Some Ford owners had a bone to pick as well. Terminator fans immediately lined up to take shots. There is no doubt that the ’03-’04 Cobra paved the way for the performance Mustangs that followed. It certainly must have been difficult for owners of these rides to see the world celebrate the Shelby GT500 and its bigger, blown 5.4. An instant family rivalry was born.
