Hello SVTP! First time posting here!
On to what's happening...
So my buddy has a 2000 Mustang GT with the Windsor block, and has recently been having a cylinder #1 misfire (P0201). We've tried just about everything we can to see what is actually causing the issue.
Replaced a COP, and the Fuel Injector. Still misfiring.
We've swapped around fuel injectors/COP's from cylinder to cylinder. Still misfiring.
I have a 2001 GT Romeo Block (currently being built) and since it is torn down we took out my Harness and put it into his. Still misfiring.
We tested the connectors for Voltage and there is voltage going to the connectors (COP/Injector).
Tested the COP with Spark plug inserted from Cyl #1 for spark. Cyl #1 No spark.
Moved the same COP and Spark Plug from Cyl#1 to Cyl #5, it sparks.
Also tested the resistance to see if anything was blown, but resistance matched to all other Injectors and COP's.
We are completely stumped... The last thing I can think of is the ECU/ECM not functioning properly.
