'02 5 speed trans bolt in swap for T45 in '96 GT?

Like the subject line says! My '96 GT's T45 grinds when cold and upon fast shifts. Have a possible deal on a 5 speed from an '02 GT. Tried the search, to no avail. Thanks for any and all help!

02 has an 11 inch clutch and flywheel otherwise I don't see why not?

i thought the driveshaft's were different but maybe not

replacing a t-45 with a used 3650.....good luck, if you think that 3650 wont grind then you got another thing coming. Do a little research on them and you may want to replace it with another t-45.
