02 Sensor Oddity

Good afternoon,

Looking for some advice on my 04 Cobra. Mostly stock except exhaust (catless), tune, intake (basic bolt-ons) car makes a 429rwhp/399tq

I did the clutch on it and all of a sudden I received a P2195 code (02 sensor signal biased/stuck lean Bank 1 Sensor 1) after having the battery disconnected awhile.

So I did the obvious thing to replace the sensor as when I watched the 02 percentages the B1S1 would sit at 35% at idle while the B2S1 would sit around 3%. After replacing the sensor I started it up and still had the same problem discrepancy in the percentage reading which obviously correlates to the voltage.

I have narrowed the issue down to where this only happens when the car is on a cold start.
While driving and while idling a warmed up engine the readings between banks are similar.

The car runs great.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I saw another guy had a bad pin on his connector so I will check that next.

First thing to do is retrace all your steps. Make sure no wires are pinched and everything is plugged in tight.

has the code returned?

to me..it's your 02 telling you something.

if just a clutch was replaced.

air inlet tube is loose or leaking,
tilt of engine to remove transmission will pull on inlet tube..

may have pulled main vac hose loose frim back of engine if pulling on harnesses around bellhousing.

see pced section of our manual..
here it tells you what to expect to see on gage while reading trims,

I would love to but I do not have the manual.

So I got under the car last night looking for loose connections and I found out that I think the 02 harness was clipped back together improperly.

They had the harness coming from the engine (front of car) hooked to the rear
MIL eliminator and then to the bank 2 02 sensor on passenger side.

They had the B1S1 hooked to the harness that is near where the transmission temp sensor? is.

I unhooked and hooked the B1S1 to the harness clip coming from the front of the car (back of engine) and then clipped the rear 02 sensor to the MIL eliminator and then to the harness connection near the transmission sensor.

Does this make sense?
Hopefully that is the problem.
