I almost forgot to pass this info along to my fellow '03 owners...
When installing my K&N (RF-1027) the other day, I felt the plastic intake tube from the MAF to the TB was moving a bit more than I would expect.
Sure enough, the clamp at the TB was loose and the intake piping had moved half way off the flange!
I recommend that you check yours too just to make sure you're not introducing unmetered air.
