Well, I got my wife to run against me one Saturday morning.

Here are the Modds:

03 Cobra
Steggy stage 8 port w/ported TB, and Plenum.
2.90 upper pulley
Bassani catted X, Borla Stinger catbacks
JLT Ram Air Intake
Tuned.
490Hp/456tq

2013 C6 grand sport
Bone stock
Has selective exhaust baffle open switch.
Automatic/ paddle shift

We ran a few times. The cobra took the win 4-1
We did 60 rolls and 40 rolls.
She did beat me on a 40 roll once. Damn vettes know how to get out the gate on the low end!
There was an issue we noticed with the launches. After I would honk it off, she said the vette would take a second to hit the high gear and take off.
No, the paddle shift was not used at the time. Which may have made the difference.

Try again keeping the Corvette in second gear on the 40 roll rather than let it downshift on it's own. Put it in Sport and use the paddles to select and hold the gear, then as soon as you go WOT shift into Drive and then quickly back to Sport and leave it there.

The 6L80E usually takes around .4-.5 seconds to downshift into 2nd from 5th or 6th which can be a car length or two on the hit.
