Good rule of thumb.

A full weight termi needs about 100more whp to stay even with a c5z.

Same for c6z. A 550whp cobra is a great run for a c6z

The C5 Z06 weighs 3117 lbs and C6 Z06 weighs 3175, although the C5Z is lighter the C6Z has 100 more horsepower. Throw an LS7 into a C5 Z06 then that rule would apply that a Termi needs at least 100 more horsepower to beat a C5 Z06.

I got beat pretty badly by a friend of mine's C5 Z06. His car was AA supercharged and put down 590 at the wheels. My car is an 03, 2.76, full exhaust (Kooks LTs, O/R X, Stingers), ported Eaton, few other mods (i.e. short throw, cooling mods). Anyways 510 at the wheels. He beat me by a fair amount, but not quite as bad as I expected...all rolls. Also, from a 45 roll stayed with him for a bit, then he very steadily left me further and further behind. Luckily for me he sold that car and I am currently kicking his ass. Also, +1 for video.

I say about 80-100 hp NOT 100WHP. Not all cars perform the same. That's was a vert P.I.E Cobra against an almost 400whp C5 Z06.

did this happen? its been 3 months!

Probably not.

My.money is on the cobra. Either way a close race within half car or so i say.

I pulled about 3 or so cars on stock c5z with 455 / 478 power.

100lbs is roughly equivalent to10whp. A 535lbs difference in weight between the C5 Zo6 and the Cobra is worth about 54whp. My friend has an intake only c5z with 374 Hp/354 Tq (stock tune) and I smash him. But I'm running with 555whp, and we ran on the same dyno. The zo6 is no joke though.
