Just done the 6r80 swap on my 2003 Eaton swap Mach 1. All I can say is wow it's worth the time. Took me about three days. The one piece Ford racing drive shaft mentioned before does work for my solid rear 8.8 but I had to swap the rear flange off the new drive shaft and use the flange from my old sleel shaft. You have to use a offset aka combination aka bastard u joint. Sizes are 1350 x 1330. Size is 3.625 wide from cup to cup both ways and one cup size is 1.062 this so the stock steel side and the other is 1.188 this is the new aluminum side. Moog 448 or Spicer SDH-5-648X . Figured I'd put this information out there because I had difficulty finding it. Also the clip that holds the transmission shift cable to the stock shifter it's a part number 4C3Z-7H181-AA.
