10 psi?

any one have any idea why my boost gage would read 10psi at wot when all i have is an air filter?

1. You have a tune you dont know about?

2. Gauge is reading wrong.

maybe there are more mods than you think.....ask the guy you bought it from...maybe it has a pully or a chip

my stock gauge reads 10psi and my truck is stock.. im pretty sure the stock gauge will be off by a few psi give or take.

Sounds about right to me...do you think this is a problem? Stock is usualy 8 or 9, an airfilter might let it suck a little more in...Just a guess. Mine showed just a hair below 10 stock.

thats about it... mine reads somewhere around what would be 14lbs but im only making 10

Mine is the same way. Nothing wrong other than stock gauges. They're always off by a little.
