10th Anniversary Wheels on Mineral Gray Vert

Picked them up for a great price - couldn't resist. Kept the stockers for strip tires.

Props to 03ShadowCobra for displaying a pic that pushed me over the edge.
Cheers,
Pete

What a relief - after reading the title of the thead, I was fully expecting to see a little Brit convertible from the 70's with humongous 10th anniversary Cobra wheels on it. Blasphemy! :dw:

 I wouldn't do that to you! Forgot to add I threw on the Eagle F1 GS-D3's 275/40/17's. They handle pretty well. No traction compared to the Nitto 315's though. Interestingly, the GS-D3's are definitely wider that the F1's and almost as wide as the Nitto 315's
Cheers,
Pete

Thanks! I saw yours and had to give it a shot. Here's a picture from a show the local SVTOA sponsored last Saturday.:burnout:

10th Anniversary Wheels

The wheels are sharp and give the car a unique yet OEM look.

Good choice.

Looks fantastic! The first time I saw the anniv. rims, I knew that they would look awesome on a MG cobra!

I recently purchased a set of 'silver' 18" R rims for my MG vert. I'm thinking about getting them powdercoated with the 'gun-metal' grey... (similar color to the 10th anniv. rims).

They are OEM, I bought a set from GEF at that price also. They came in factory Ford boxes with the Ford Racing logo and they included the factory SVT logo center caps. GEF has raised their price on these though, they are now $149.00 per wheel. (You had to Pre-Order the wheels "BEFORE" GEF ever got them in stock to get them at the $129.00 price). You know what they say boys, If you snooze you lose. ;-)
