I just went to the Ca DMV websight. They say anyone who paid the increased tax will be getting a refund in early 04.
For those who havent paid yet, can pay the reduced fees (the old rates). Go to www.dmv.ca.gov or the formula to figure your REDUCED tax is to;
1. Take the VLF fee,
2, multiply that fee by .675, round off,
3, subtract that from the total due
and there you have it. A temporary reprieve in taxation.:beer:
