I can't wait to do mine but obviously I'm not in a big hurry.

I do remember overheating my brakes on the SHO at the Chicago SHO convention when we had the track event at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. The stock brakes are pretty pathetic. An upgrade will be nice.:coolman:

Glad to hear you're another convert!!!!

on my 93 with the 96 upgrade, my brother wasn't wearing his seatbelt when I told him to, so I put him into the dash. If your car is just a street car the 96s are an awesome upgrade.

What parts were involved in doing that upgrade. I've heard that it can be done on Tbirds as well. Please forgive my ignance, but does that change the bolt pattern too? My brakes have seen better days, and i know im gonna need pads, and rotors(been ground twice already), for sure, and maybee sum new calipers calipers.

Thanx
Luke

I'm not sure. Though I know the MN12 and Taurus bolt pattern is the same.

On the Taurus what is needed is:

89-93 - 94/95 spindles, calipers, caliper brackets, rotors, and pads
94-95 - is the same minus the spindles (and you don't need the calipers either)

you can also do it with the 94/95 spindels and with 99+gt rotors /calipers i think they are 10.9 and have 2 piston calipers not sure though
after you upgrade its sweet !
