well car went 12.8 @ 111.5 w/ a 2.03 60ft last night. car is a 2002 Z28 and has LTs, Corsa catback, ASP underdrive pulley, SLP Lid. i was somewhat satisfied. im kinda thinking with a 1.7-1.9 60ft a 12.5ish isnt out of the realm with this MPH.

well the car could need the driver mod but in my defense LOL it has eibach springs on it. prob the worst thing ever for weight transfer. the car on launch will set the car on the bump stops. with this rearend a 1.6 60ft isnt verylikely with a 6 speed car. im hoping for a 12.4 or so with a 1.8 60ft.
as for the future...looking at a MS3 cam..car should make on a good tune somewhere around 390-400 RWHP. thakns for the responds guys

are you kidding me...STOCK LS1's w/ a good driver can run a 13.2, w/ his mods mid 12s are in his reach...my buddy has a 6 speed ls1 w/ a lid and catback running 12.8, but other than that its bone stock...

Bolt on LS1s can run 11s...much less 12s. Seen it several times with different cars. Great times but as some one mentioned, without gearing, low 12s would be hard to get...
Nice time OP. When I get my SS I'll be hoping for mid 12's or better with bolt-ons and a stall.
