Another one of my trucks. This one is a 1966 F250 Ranger (Factory Bucket Seats) It has a Prototype 3.5 Eco that was donated by FoMoCo for the project. Ford GT Turbo's should help. AirRaid donated the cool Airbox which I made functional Ram Air. I redrilled the rotors to fit the Take Off F250 Wheels. Tires are GoodYear F1 SuperCar 255/55-18's. Using Stock '66 Chassis & Suspension. Front Brakes upgraded to 2 piston later model F250. Fuel tank I built out of stainless. It's 30 gallon. Custom Aluminum Driveshaft. Donated engine was with 6R80 and transfer case. Hope to turn it into 4x4 someday after other projects are done. Just gotta find time to paint this one and get it back together. Rear axle is original Dana 60 that has been updated to current standards.

I assume that was a wrecked F150? I couldn't tell from the pictures.

You sure don't waste any time. That's a quick teardown.

I challenge Jay Inslee to a bare knuckles fight. if I win, he opens the state and renounces masks.
Yes, It hit a parked car on side street doing about 70 mph. Story I heard was it was brought in for its first oil change and on test drive it was toasted. Before and after pics.

being a old fart it’s a bit more difficult to figure out that stuff. I have iPhone. I transferred pics from phone to desktop so can try that. No luck with proper Photobucket link yet. Will get it eventually. this site only allows a much smaller photo than most sites I am used to.

The easiest way to upload pictures is to download the Svtp app for your phone. Then you simply hit the reply arrow, push on the blank picture box and that will pull up your gallery photos. Tap on the pic you want and push send. That will take you back to the app and add comments. One reply can handle multiple pics.

Im seeing the successful version of some of my plans here, which gives me hope. I had the same FE intake and a couple 427s and a 428. Sold them. I have a 65 F100 that I put a pontiac 389 3x2 With a 700 R4 in instead. Was thinking about coyote 10 speed, but wiring is too much for my simple mind. I even had the same green 2 light setup in the shop. You are like picasso and I'm paint by numbers and cant stay in the lines. Thanks for the ride along.

Any pics of ‘65?
Coyote is easy plug n play as one can buy wiring direct from Ford performance. I am total opposite of a engineer. More like a puzzle get a bunch of parts and grind cut n weld until they fit. If I ruin one start over. I can envision the end result but it’s they trying to make it fit that takes up the time.

Just a little backyard hobby shop without proper tools. Make do with what I have.

Even the paint n body is done in house with no paint booth. Just gotta paint certain times of year as 80% done outside with no shade or cover

Will post a few pics of where I started. AZ truck since new. Bought it Feb 1, 2000. I started teardown in 2008. Gathered parts from day I bought it and still looking collecting. I found many many NOS parts that are now unobtanium. The sheet metal was 100% rust free and very straight! Paint was for sure AZ sun baked.

My very first vehicle was a 66 F100 with the 3 speed on the tree.....

I bought it for $500 in 1996 and sold it for $500 in 1998

I beat the hell out of it and had lots of fun. Good memories

Love the thread!
