1971 VW deluxe microbus
Kassan Red w/Pastel White
26,297 miles
Air cooled flat four 1600cc w/1 Solex carb


Client was wishing to get their bus looking good again. Paint was somewhat dull, lifeless and oxidized, massive amounts of dirt/grime embedded, full of swirls, scratches and some chips. Original single stage paint.

Dodo Born slippery clay lube.
Medium clay mitt.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex 3401/Beast.
Flex pixie
Rupes iBrid.
6” foam pads.
Blackfire One Step.
Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba.
Adam’s VRT tire dressing.
Adam’s glass cleaner.
Pinnacle leather and vinyl cleaner.
Metro vacuum.

THERE'S a classic. It came out awesome, much to the delight of the owner, I'm sure. How much do you think it's worth? I know they sell for good money at auction.

Bob, from the ones I've seen they are pushing 80-100K, the earlier 21+ window models are 110+++K!

Yeah, Scott, let's pretty much what I'm remembering with either Barrett Jackson or Mecum. They have a cult following, VW buses, that is.

That’s awesome! It brings back memories. I grew up in a green and white 72 that my dad put in a type4 2.0, then a brown and tan 79 that turned out to be a turd.
