Its really not, cause its a decent amount of hours to do it properly. no shortcuts. :p

If you're interested we can work something out. (im sure you wanna see the finished product first)

Here is a pic of mine (ignore the wire loom under the MAF, its not there anymore lol

Well, if I told you how to do it then we wouldn't have any more business. :p

To do what you want, 98SaleenCobra, would start at about $600, its pretty involved...

I'd say move the fuse panel. Its not hard to get to, just jack it up, pull the wheel off, pull the plastic liner back and its right there....

You couldnt pm the guy. Highly doubt he would steal your buisness....

Damn that looks killer man!! I'll definatley try to get in touch with you.. I need to figure out my priorities with this car first though.. There is still so much I want to do to it.. One of which is a FAST system.. I wouldn't want to have to redo everything later on down the road that you already did haaha.

Looks sweet. I love it!:rockon::rockon:

I especially love the location of the wastegate. You did a great job on the build.

Oh I know. I'm just giving him a little hell. LOL.

Wouldn't it be nice not to see that ugly thing in an engine bay though?

I took the Hydroboost off, actually. I have a Aerospace Components Full-Manual conversion, it is ultra small....and i'll have my Wilwood proportioning valve next to it. The Hydo is ****ing ugly as sin..

Does a ysi trim use the same bracket as my s trim? I'm building my engine soon and was thinking of upgrading the blower. Anything I need to know about before swapping my s stim to a ysi trim?

Thanks

It'll mount onto the existing bracket, but the YSI trim isn't for the faint of heart.. Unless you are spinning 25+psi or spinning the motor to 8K this blower isn't what you're looking for. If you are looking for 600rwhp a T-trim will do just fine.. If you want around 650-700rwhp I would get a JT-trim.. Those are more street friendly blowers IMO.

Yep. On the blower it says "CARB EO: RACE" lol

Well, 98Saleen, If you want we can do the XFi, Tuck & Tune for a package deal (were pretty familiar with FAST lol )

I was looking around on vortech's web site and they have a very good comparison chart for their blowers. The inlets go up in size from the si trim to the t, jt and ysi trim, no biggie cause I have a 4" power pipe and I'm currently using a 4" to 3.5" reducer. There's not a huge difference in my opinion fro the si to the t trim, at least not enough for me to justify the extra money so I'll probably go with a jt trim. Thanks for your help with the bracket and info on the blower. I'm going to keep my after cooler and with a stroker short block and ported heads I hope to make 650.

I would go with a D1SC if it was me. Unless you just really want to keep your bracket.

Yea especially since he's in KY. I've love to do my car.

I would love to do mine also.
