first off let me say that i had a great time at bowling green saturday and the weather was perfect.elmo it was good meeting you congrats on your 11.7 pass:beer:

i made 5 passes in all with a 1-1.5 hr cooldown between runs except for run 3 it was a hotlap in a different lane.

the track was not the best but not that bad either i just could not get a good 60' time,with a descent 60' i'am certain to get me a 11.6 sec pass.i was impressed with my two 122 mph traps but the times sucked,and i loved my bracket racing style in the left lane almost all three were the same mph kinda freaky.the first run i launched at 3,000 rpm's and spun fairly good so after that i launched between 1,700 and 2,200 without any problems and no wheel hop all day i only got some spin so that let me concentrate more on my driving once i got going as the halfshafts are always in the back of my mind but they are no more since i finally got me some track times with my h&r ss springs,hermans shocks,bfg dr and this works wonders for my cobra.

OMG, did you just said you have a 2.60 pulley. This world is coming to an end!!! Remember to use a bullet proof vest just in case the blower goes KABOON. Just kidding, good luck.

yes it is a 2.60 pulley.on a cool day i see 15 1/4 lbs of boost at peak so it's not much different than running a 2.80/2lb lower combo,just don't have the hassle and expense of doing a lower pulley:burnout:

You like living on the edge, don't you. LOL! I'd love to see someone test (on the same day, same track) a 2.90, 2.80, 2.75 and 2.60 to see how they compare. And also a comparison of blower rpms.

That mile per hour on the first runs is pretty kickass man! 122 mph is one healthy top end. As soon as the track comes around and cool air....that car is an easy low 11 second car

Boy we had a long day didnt we Jim. Glad to see you making improvements at the track. I know now you are alot more comfortable running your car now that you have the wheelhop cured!!! Good et's and mph for your first time out in a while!!!!

it would figure you would have your best run of the day against me on that nightly pass:thumbsup:

well i might not of gotten my 11's yet but i had fun and made alot of improvements in my driving from last year at the track and drove the cobra back home under it's own power so i call that a great day:rockon:

U will get your 11's no doubt its all about seat time and you got some good pass yesterday its only a matter of time!!
