2 months into owning a 2013 GT.

Hey everyone!

I used to roam this forum back in 03-04 daydreaming of one day owning a terminator. Well, the day still has not come! But i have gotten myself into a 13 sterling gray GT and i love it.

I would love to figure out whos in Los Angeles! for some fun drives!

So far it has a res and muffler delete. MGW race spec shifter, Ford racing K lowering springs. RTR shiftknob.

I purchased an airaid intake that's ready to install but I'm kinda iffy about getting it tuned. I have no experience or knowledge of tunes, so I'm a bit worried I'll be adding strain to the engine. I am just over 81k on the clock.

But man i hear its a different beast after a good tune. What do you think? should i just for the tune?

I got my sterling grey Brembo GT in '14 out of the showroom and liked it.

A year and a Whipple later I loved it.

You can save time, money and self loathing by going forced induction sooner rather than later.

Best color hands down, I loved mine! FBO, she was a monster. Track pack, premium. Loved that car, it was sadly totaled. My brother was driving on our way home from a trip. I was passenger. Got roasted haha. Be safe out there!

My brother has a 2013 and I love it. He did the PMAS intake, long tubes, tune, he is making 400w. It’s a great car. I’ll own one eventually.

I can’t imagine putting that intake on with out a tune will hurt anything. You would definitely get the most out of the setup with a tune, but I think you would be fine. Maybe some others can chime in.

Im pretty sure mines the brembo pack with the trackpack rims. My rear differential doesnt have heat fins and my oil cap isn't 50w so i dont think its a trackpack

I think my intake model has a bigger tube diameter so the stock ecu wont be able to handle the change in a/f.

Man i want to tune it but i dont wana blow it up haha

I was going to hit racers edge tuning. Pretty sure hes been around a while and tunes termis often
