After reading about it I did a search on here but found nothing.
edit. I came across some info online about how SVT was going to make a Mystic Gold Cobra for the 2000 model year. Obviously after 99 issues the 00 Cobra was scrapped and plans for the Mystic Gold color went in the trash.

I tried to find some more detailed pictures but this is all I could find.

Never heard of 2000 cobras existing before, even in concept form. Very interesting, and if you can find one, that's a very rare find indeed.

I know for a fact, however, that 2002 model year cobras exist in Australia, but they didn't come in any other colors than what the US versions had. I've seen a yellow one, a red one, and a black one.
There were a few major differences with the Aussie versions. The first, and most obvious is that they were all right hand drive. They also were fitted with disgusting looking second set of driving lights in the front bumper (to spot razorbacks and kangaroos when driving through the outback late at night), but also had ricey looking side marker lights above the cobra emblems.

Only a few hundred were made. If I was down under, I'd rock one.
You can see a few pictures here:

I'd like to learn more about the 2000 cobras and possibly get my hands on one.

if it were truly a gold color, it MIGHT not be so bad. maybe the pics don't do it justice, but that looks like more of a burnt orange color to me. in which case...:xpl:

I'm fairly certain they made a handful of GTs in that color for that year. Definetly a love/hate color. Personally......I hate.

I love that color. I always wanted a color shifting orange paint and to be able to get it from the factory would make it that much cooler. A lot less expensive to replicate most likely.

I remember seeing that car before are hearing the talk about the color. I have not seen, however, any picture of it where it would indicate how it shifted colors.
