Thanks everyone. This has been such a fun build so far. Hoping maybe tonight and tomorrow I can get some more work done on it. I messed around with it on Sunday evening and got a little accomplished.

I installed the radiator mounting brackets, radiator, and mocked up the handlebars. I brought a few small pieces to the powder coated that I forgot originally. One of them was the top bracket for the handle bars. I am going to pick that up today and secure the handlebars. The radiator looks badass.

Nice bike, looking forward to watching it get done. I ride a Raptor and a YFZ450R but have always wanted to dabble with a Banshee

No pictures, but I actually installed all of the bearings, oil seals, and dust caps on the rear swingarm and axel carrier. I need to install the bearings etc. into the dog bone and then I can put the rear swingarm on. Hopefully I will get to that this week. My a-arms and shocks are supposed to be shipping out on the 27th so once those come in, it should start to come together quick. My stainless steel brake lines came in and even though they are advertised for a "Banshee", they are universal. I am having a hard time mounting the connector (where the master cylinder hose meets to send fluid to the calipers) in the factory location. So I am trying to figure out a solution to that. I have been super busy lately but hoping this week and next week to make some solid progress.

Got some work done today. I installed of the other components to the rear swing arm. I also installed all new grease fittings, and greased what I could so far.

I also installed all of the chain guides, as well as the ignition, front brake lines, rear rotor onto its hub, sprocket onto its hub, and some other misc. stuff.

Tomorrow my shocks will be in so I can finally put the rear shock on, and finish installing the axel. Hopefully my a arms arrive this week too so I can get the this bad boy on the ground again.

NICE!! Although...I always cringe a little when I see something designed for the dirt...get detailed to the 9's!!
Its so pretty right now...I don't know if I'd have the stones to get it properly dirty! lol

Got a lot done yesterday. The shocks came in a few days early. I was able to get pretty much the entire rear suspension done. Axle went in very smooth, as well as the shock. I ordered a rear caliper bracket since I didn’t realize it didn’t come with the new caliper I bought. I also think the rear brake line I bought is too long (for an extended axle).

I put the front shocks on and loosely tightened the bolts until the a arms come in. I also put the front rotors onto the hubs, and all of the electrical parts including the wiring harness. Slowly but surely she’s getting there!

Still waiting on the A-Arms (coming Tuesday) but I pretty much did as much as I could until then.

My body and rear swing arm skid plate came in. I installed the rear and had to do a little modifying for it to fit. I have an aftermarket chain guide that’s much larger than stock so it needed to be trimmed. Fits like a glove.

I also installed the new fuel petcock and gave the gas tank a nice thorough cleaning. It isn’t perfect but you’ll never see it behind the plastics. I also purchased all new rubber grommets and what not for the gas tank from Yamaha.

Lastly I installed the front fender brackets that I had powder coated. That’s all for now sadly until more parts arrive.

She's on the ground!

What a feeling when I stood back to take a look. A lot of hours into this bad boy.

I need to adjust the toe, bleed the front and rear brakes, and fine tune a few items but for the most part, she is ready for the motor!

The only plastics that came in so far was the rear fender and gas tank covers. I put my original beat up front fender and seat on just to see how she looks. I have a brand new oem seat in the wrapper for the icing on the cake.

That’s so ****ing cool! I still rip around on my 01 YZ250, yeah 2 stroke too! I raced MX for 12 years all over the east coast. She will be a fun toy for sure! Old school dirt bike buddy and I got a D5 dozer and built a .6 mile track behind my house the last Christmas break
