great numbers...cant wait to see 1/4 mile times and mph!
I made it to the 1/8th... It ran a best of 8.52 at 84.88mph with a 2.07 60' time. I got the next run on video from inside and outside the car and that video is below. Hope you enjoy.

I need some ET Street tires because it wont hook if you leave at anything above idle. Check out my latest YouTube video:

Solid run fellow N/A 2v brother , just need some traction. Your 85mph Trap speed should be good for about a 108mph ish in the 1/4. Definitely good for some 12's

I hit a 12.9 at 106.5 running 8.3 @ 83 in the 1/8th. That was with a 1.83 60' though.

What gear are you running in the rear? Even with a 3.73, I finish the 8th at the top of 3rd gear. Sounds like you are getting into 4th, which you shouldn't in the 8th. 2nd seemed to be nothing but spinning...a stickier tire will yield you some nice times!

3.73's with 275/40 ZR17 tires on 10.5 inch rims.

Thanks everyone. I would like to do a forged bottom end so that I could spray it and it is in the plans for the future. I also need to build the rear end before I get too carried away. I also need to install my MM K-member and steering shaft that are just sitting in my garage...lol
You can totally spray that car safely. I'd build the rear first but hitting that with a 100 shot pull 10 degrees timing car live for ever trust me I know. I used a dynotune wet kit 125 shot but i think their pills are smaller than the big name brands. Obviously tuned. Car would rip bud.

The post you quoted was kind of old. I have since installed the K-member, a while back, and just upgraded the rear end with 3.73's, 31 spline Moser axles, rebuilt 31 spline Cobra Trac-lok, and all new bearings and seals. I did the rear axle a few weeks ago. Here's a photo of when I pulled it out.

Awesome progress! I am wishing I went the route you did, would have been driving my car for a while by now. I ran out of talent a year ago on my TT build

I would do a fuel pump next focus, aviatot, ford gt etc. with sticky tire and driver Mod low 12s for sure
I do need to swap the fuel pump because it has the stock pump in the tank and over 260K miles on it. It wasn't starving for fuel when it was on the dyno though. If I make any more power though I am sure it will max out soon. I maxed out 24lb Injectors at 335 RWHP. The tuner told me they were at 100% duty cycle so I bought 34lb Ford Racing Injectors and it is a lot better.

Walbro makes a returnless pump that you might want to look into. I believe the part number is TU229HP.
