And did you ever get the car tuned? Weren't you running quite lean back in June I believe.

Why are you selling?

stock lower. no porting. the 500 rwhp is an estimate.

car made 440 rwhp on heat soaked dyno BEFORE the kooks long tubes and fluidyne.

yes I have gotten retuned and she is perfect. idle is 14.5-15.2

WOT is 12.1

Selling because I am sick of my $504.98 a month payment, also trying to get my life/career started and the toy just isn't in my spending range.

Sick car, seen it and person and have been in it several times.

Although on a side note I would lower that a/f. I like my forced induction cars to be around 11.5 at WOT.

Car does run very strong and is definitely the cleanest black Cobra in NJ.

When did you acquire the car, you are the 2nd or 3rd owner? And lastly, who did the tune on the car and when was that performed?

Side notes:

Condition of the Rims (any curbings, scratches)
Condition of interior (seats, dash, mats)
Cond. of exterior (hood, bumper, windshield and any nicks, scratches, major chips)
Tire tread life?
Brake pad/rotor life?
Fluid changes?
What oil do you use and last oil change?

SVTspeed though those are some very good questions anyone who is willing to know anything about the car to that extent should just make the phone call if there at all that serious about the car. :-D

Rims = Perfect, no curb damage, no nicks

Interior = Perfect, no stains, no tears

Exterior = He is a detailer. When I tell you it's the cleanest Black Cobra in NJ, IT IS! Definitely worth taking the drive just to look at the paint, I think you will be beyond impressed.

Tires = Rear BF Drag Radials have roughly 50% tread left. Front tires I don't know.

Brakes = I don't know.

Worth going to look at, just to see the condition of it.

Tune is a mail in order tune, I think.

Again sorry for jumping into this thread. He is a good personal friend and I have tried every option to purchase this Cobra and it is just not working out for me. The new owner will be one lucky SOB.

he is correct about it all.

tires up front are nitto 555's and have a TON of tread left, they look new.


Bob Kurgan (spelling) out in Chicago did a mail order tune. runs very strong.


I am the 3rd owner, 2nd owner owned it for 4k miles, and is a member of this site.

I change the oil with mobil 1 and mobil 1 filter. usually every 3 months because that comes around sooner than the 3k miles.

Changed the coolant when I installed the fluidyne, did a 50/50 coolant with distilled water and water wetter.

Brakes have plenty left, I do not beat on this car besides the occasional race. No high speed runs and slamming the brakes.

who owned this car when i did the mail order tune?? I can tell you about the tune if i got a name to look in my database under!

That would be great. He had the car tuned, so I am sure he can message you his name and you can talk about the tune. :beer:

Still wondering if you has any interior/engine shots of the car.

Btw this is the only black cobra with black rims i like and would wan, its damn sexyt!!! If shes still for sale in a few months Ill be calling ya.
