2003 Mineral Gray Cobra SOLD!!!

I have wrestled with this idea long enough and the time has come to sell my baby. With kids, work, and graduate school I just don’t have time to drive it any more. It’s a 2003 Ford “Terminator” SVT Cobra in color Mineral Gray. It is 1 of 302 made in this year and color combination. I poured a lot of sweat into this car since I purchased it in 2006 trying to get everything perfect. My eventual goal was to have it repainted with the factory color, but it just hasn’t panned out yet. Car has NEVER seen snow and I don’t even drive it if it is raining out. I have to disclose it came with a rebuilt title from Maryland. Title was transferred over to NY and I have the Carfax to show the history. The story I was told when I purchased the car was that in 2004, the owner hit the curb with the passenger rear wheel. This broke the rim and damaged the IRS. The insurance company deemed it salvaged because you couldn’t buy a new IRS from Ford at that time to fix it. The person I bought the car from bought an IRS off another wrecked Cobra and swapped them out. I have a lift in my garage, so I am more than happy to raise it up and let you check it out. I have never found anything wrong underneath. I did check with Ford and the passenger side cylinder head has been replaced for the dreaded tick issue. I also installed a cylinder head cooling mod for assurance. There are 30,791 miles currently on the car. The car has been tuned by Justin Starkey at VMP Performance. Here is a list of modifications:

2.3 Whipple with 3.0” pulley (about 18lbs of boost)

Siemens 60# injectors

Accufab 100mm SBTB

C&L 95mm MAF

Bassani catted x-pipe

Magnaflow cat back (Polished)

SCT Strategy Flash (P/N 9415)

Kenne Bell 40 amp boost-a-pump with wiring upgrade

Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors

Maximum Motorsports adjustable caster camber plates

Maximum Motorsports IRS urethane bushings

Maximum Motorsports IRS subframe bolts

Maximum Motorsports IRS urethane differential mounts

Urethane Rear Control Arm Bushings

LDC Cylinder Head Cooling mod

MGW Orange Shifter w/ Mustang Gripper Knob

BilletFlow IRS brace

Hilton Boost Overlay Modification

DynoJet Widebad O2 Sensor

DynoJet 2 1/16” Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge

Auto Meter steering column pod

BBK Mustang MIL O2 Eliminators

DiabloSport MAFIA

90mm Motoblue idler pulleys

AFCO Dual Pass Heat Exchanger

Windows Tinted

I may be forgetting some things. Car has NEVER been drag raced and has been babied since I have owned it. Asking SOLD!!

I personally feel like people are too quick to pass on cars with title issues. As long as the car is straight and performs well this is a steal

PS LOWER IT!!!! (the car itself that is):)

Thanks. I'm in Upstate NY, which some may argue is the Pot Hole Capital of America, especially this time of year. I would surely bottom out going down my street lol. I've had zero issues with the car. I must say the rolling burnouts at 40 mph are a blast.

Upstate, NY here as well and yes the roads are horrendous this time of year and not much better in the summer. I had to raise mine back up it was so bad.

Beautiful Cobra and GLWS.

Doesn’t need it. There are a couple marks on the rear bumper and I just wanted it to look like it did from the factory (perfectionist). Just haven’t gotten around to it.

If it never been dyno'ed how was it tuned? by street?
Data logged. You capture all the data and sensor information in an excel file and email it to the tuner. He reads it and makes adjustments to the tune. Probably more complicated than that, but that’s the simple version. Justin Starkey at VMP was highly recommended so I went with him to tune the car.
