Hope this is the correct place to post this? I would like a few opinions on a 2004 I"m looking at.
85,000 miles, Silver Convertible. $17,700. exactly what should I look for and is that to much of an asking price?

Looks very clean and lightly modded. I'd pay $17K no question if that was exactly what I was looking for given how clean it appears

Why would the sending unit be bad? Tank has prob been out before for pumps..possibly blower swapped car, returned to stock eaton

So if the fuel gauge is broken, what kinda fix would that involve?

More than likely dropping the tank and replaced the sending unit.

Check under the snout of the blower. See if there are any markings from Steigmeir or one of the companies. It might be a ported blower.

Went and looked at the car. I’m new to these. What is this black bar for?

Forgot to add. Stock vert subframe connectors are a joke. This and booted to the subframes. Go with a full length welded subframe connectors. Makes a huge difference. It won’t be as stiff as a coupe but there is tremendous improvement.
