2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 | Retro Review

Nice video. Cool to think how "hot" these SRTs were back in the day, and now we have Hellcats and Red Eyes making much bigger power. Realizing this is a 2006, I'm reminded how long this platform has been around. And it still looks nice on the exterior.
I had to send this to my brother when I saw it uploaded as he owns a twin of the car they reviewed. He traded his '15 392 scat pack 6spd in during the pandemic (for a profit) and walked out with a 06 SRT8 + a check for like 20 grand. One owner with 40,000 miles on it. You don't find those early SRT8 cars in good shape anymore, most of them have been through 8 owners in the hood and are out performing in street takeovers in the bay area.
I bought a black 06 SRT8 back in June 2014. Car had 86xx miles when I got my hands on it. Great vehicle that I really did enjoy.

Badass car for its time. I remember my 04 GTO getting smoked by one. Lololol.
I never liked this body style... I love the new ones though.
