"No mods"..... "Different wheels, different taillights..."

Good luck with your sale!

There are many third party sources that use actual sales data to determine valuation. Edmunds.com or KBB.com just to name two. Utilize these tools to discover true market value. Looking at that data and completed EBay auctions I would estimate $27k - $30k for a final sales price on a stock 2008 GT500 with < 10k.

Good luck.

$27-30k? I think that's awfully low. If it's a mint car, I would say anywhere between $33,000 and $35,000. I sold my 2008 white/blue in May for $36,000 (the original factory warranty started this May, so it was still considered a new car). I would say $34,000 is a solid selling price.

The dealership I work at sold a CPO 2009 GT500 w/4500 miles for $32,900 over 18-months ago. 2010's are now going for $33k- $36k. 2011's for $36k - $39k. No way an 08' is currently worth mid-$30's and yes the book has adjusted quite rapidly downward over the past 6 to 12 months with the 2013 released. I like the GT500's very much but they are little more than used Mustangs with a high hp engine.

One dealer here is asking 50k for a used 2012 with 1500 miles. I just laughed and walked out. Told them people bought them new for less

Asking price is your perogative. You asked for advice so I provided third party sites to reference. Run the data on private party values there and see what you get. Ask a bit more if your not motivated to sell and see if a buyer steps forward. That will tell you market value.

Sit in my garage and collect dust before I let that happen
I respect all ur guys input....but 27k is way to low for me to stomach

I bet you'd sell the car in less than a month Priced at $33k.

Don't listen to the $27k BS

I said $27k - $30k based on location and actual in person condition. I'm not offering to buy it just giving my estimate of value supported by third party sites.

Get all you can get someone to pay. The buyer ultimately determines the value.

It'll sell...post it at a price where you fell comfortable and see what happens...people look for a fair deal. Really depends on what you're looking to get out of it. Maybe someone here will make you an offer and it'll work out for the both of you....

 Don't listen to this guy, he sounds like a used car manager explaining to you why it is acceptable for him to 'steal your trade'.

I'd say $34k all day long. A trade-in value on that would be around $30k. I'd list it at $35k and go from there. There is a HUGE market for that kind of car. Think of all the people looking to buy a 2013 5.0, or even a 2013 V6....your car fits their price range. I don't know about you guys, but I would much rather have an 08 GT500, than a 13 GT. Sure you don't have all the luxuries and gadgets...but the supercharger whine will make up for that with one WOT pull. Good luck with the sale!

You can't win responding to these value threads. Gheez.

Take a look at Erods 2008 with low mileage and forged SVTPP wheels. Asking $33k and still available after 3 weeks. Case study.

If you do not need to sell urgently ask whatever you want and respond to the market. Just be prepared to keep the car or adjust if no buyers materialize. It's quite simple.

I just paid $32,000 for my 08 w/ 21,000 miles. Its mint and stock other than the Corsa Axle back. I think I paid a fair price, espically since I got it at a stealership.
