2011 5.0 Sterling Gray Metallic SEVERE Hood Corrosion... Anyone else????

22k miles on the car. Never been in a wreck. The dealership is replacing the hood and repainting it as well as the fender. Not a happy camper....

Not upset with the dealer whatsoever. But the paint issue, ridiculous.

I would think corrosion would be under warranty, and I would hope that it would frustrate anyone else too. The dealership is doing fantastic no complaints, its just frustrating to have to repaint a hood due to corrosion on a semi new car.

mine had it too... just got it back... was no biggie... i got a rental free of charge and had the car back in 2 days... very painless.
