Wow, it is kinda fun to read back through this thread!! The '11 GT was still pretty new and we didn't know the full capabilities of it yet.

BTW, my uncle was so impressed with the performance of the '11 GT's that he sold his '03 Mach 1 and bought a new Performance White M6 '11 GT. He has already modded it with a midpipe, axleback JLT CAI and a 93 octane tune.

I have since added a Procharger to my car.

    "Massive Johnson". that was funny.

Heat soak is overrated. It typically becomes an issue when running boost a lot such as on a road course. A few back to back runs wont have any effect. In fact, my car had 4 back to back runs on the dyno. Each time the WHP actually increased. First run was 425 WHP and the last run was 435 WHP.

Love the new coyote motor! Has anyone dropped this gem into a new edge mustang yet? How about a built coyote on turbos?

+1, or sitting in the staging lanes while idling. Even with a stock thermostat my SRT-8 ran best from a roll because it stayed cool, running better than almost every trip down the strip.

Id really like to run a Stock 11 GT in my Mach just to see how id do.

A local guy put down 387rwhp 357rwtq BONE STOCK. we had a dyno day And that wasnt a high reading dyno cause all the other cars were putting down what you'd expect if not a little less.

I would like to get a run also but everytime I see one they do not want to race. It is either a woman who just smiles while I edge her on or an older guy. Soon there will be more around though and maybe I will get a chance.

Are you pullied? With the stock eaton and a smaller pulley I think heat soak is a big factor.

Back to back runs in the heat I definitely feel it.

That's interesting that you saw an increase after back to back runs on the dyno though.

Haven't heard of any swaps in a new edge, but it's definitely possible.

I don't know of anyone who's put a turbo kit and turned the wick up, but Evolution put an F1C and ran 8s before any heads/cams packages were available.

Now that the Boss is out with forged internals and proven to rev to 8,200rpms+ reliably we are going to see some monsters being built. ;-)
