Looking for some input on what my car should run at the strip. Car is a FBO e85 5.0 6spd. I’tll be on 17x4.5 F and 15x10r bias ply slicks. Track DA usually around 1000ft. It ran 12.2 at 118 on nt05r radials last year.
Any advice on launching techniques or other pointers is appreciated.

I did 11.9 at 115 on a slick equipped 2012 3.73 Brembo with a Procal tune only. You really need more tire. I could dump the clutch and it would dead hook 4500-6000 rpm.

I’m hoping for an 11.8x but may need to insert a driver mod jaja
Any benefit of running vp c85?

It’s treating me okay, taking W’s and L’s south of the border.
You drive a gt500?
We will be at SAR this Friday

I've heard that c85 can net you 8-10 horses over E. my friend that runs them both said he didnt really see a difference real world. He just sticks to E now.

Yea, got myself a mustang, thought you knew... lol

Car is stock. I've put barely any miles on it. I havent been doing anything with it. No real racing. Just played with a GTR and Andrew's old GS vette on the highway.

Either too lazy or just getting older. The old lady keeps me busy too.

I would think high 11's with a good 60 ft.....

Hope to put myself into the same time zone with stickies.... Although we have E54 out here in Phoenix, no more E85 :(

I would assume 11.5-11.7ish. Get on the All Motor Coyote page some good info in that group.

If it’s FBO, with LT headers, cat delete etc.. running E85 you should be in the low 11’s at a minimum.

Not great, 1.76
Trying to knock that down to 1.65-1.70

You should be able to 60’ in the high 1.5’s low 1.6’s with the manual. That’s what is holding you back. With just a tune, tires and rear suspension upgrades a guy runs 11.5 all day with the manual.

Yup. I’ll keep practicing and hope to get that 11.4-11.5 slip
