Here was the port design I was talking about...

Ask and ye' shall receive.

Wondering if using this as a straight bolt on would produce same results as the Ford Racing TVS? Methinks so, but only one way to know for sure.

It will bolt to the factory lower manifold on the 2007-2012 GT500. The 2013 OEM TVS will produce better results than the FRPP TVS due to the larger inlet port.

I know the one that Justin @ VMP sells is different, yes they are both 2300 Eaton TVS Blowers but they are different. That is a great price though, but I'm willing to beat that it will go up (From Ford).

Justin's VMP TVS has a milled down snout to allow a smaller pulley. Sylvain has created a 2.385" that will work on the VMP TVS. It also has an enlarged inlet like the 2013, however, not quiet as large. Close though.

I'm working on figuring out about the inlet. Ford only has descriptions available for the parts, and no illustrations, and Ford's descriptions leave a lot to be desired most of the time.

Thats awsome. Makes me kinda wish I would've waited to buy my TVS. Ohwell.
Is it just me or does the blower outlet look bigger on the FRPP unit? Maybe it's just the camera angle and difference in colors.

I would say it is just the angle of which the picture was taken. I will say though the inlet on the '13 TVS looks larger and more squared then the VMP TVS.

For those with the '11+ models and the VMP TVS the '13 model has the correct inlet elbow too for the EVAP sensor....hmmm.

I noticed there is 2 lines on the back/left side of the "New" TVS compared to the single line on the "old" TVS.

The old one has twin inlets as well on the GT500 cores.

The black TVS housings in those pictures are most likely for Roush chargers for the 5.0 cars. Note the lack of EGR provisions. The 5.0 doesn't have EGR.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but the intercooler core has been improved on the 2013 GT500. i know the heat exchanger has been significantly improved. price pending, that might be a nice upgrade for those looking for maximum efficiency.

So you think the GT500 TVS will flow the same as a ported Ford Racing TVS?
it'll probably flow more, just not a significant amount more. unless we see some testing of the flow rates between the blowers, we won't really now. at this point, anyone looking at a TVS should look for either a VMP TVS or the '13 TVS and go with whichever is cheaper, because it'll probably be a wash as far as the performance difference between the two.

This is great news, wonder if Ford would also provide a ProCal & tune to go with this as a combo deal? Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
