2013 OEM HID into 10-13 Non-HID Harness

I can't see this as being too complicated. Other than the proprietary plugs and all the autolamp crap, powering an HID headlight is dead nuts simple. Power and ground to the ballast, outputs for two circuits, low and high, just get the polarity right and it should spark up without issue. I dunno, maybe I'm talking out of my ass here and missing something.

There's a lot more involved than that if you want a functioning oem headlamp.

Where to buy kit for the conversion hids...

I installed these a while back but never got a chance to post up pics. Tux's Harness is awesome. The '13 lights transform the car. Expensive mod, but well worth it. I got the headlights used for $400 ea. Sorry for the shitty pics:

So ... This thread is interesting . I actually make 100% plug and play harness for the 2010-2012 5.0 the harnesses I make are to install the 13-14 OEM hid headlights into the 10-12 halogen h13 cars . I also make a 100% plug and play harness to install the 13-14 OEM hid headlights to the 10-12 OEM hid cars . I also make the harness to install the 11-12 OEM hid headlights in to he 10-12 halogen h13 cars . These harness also fit the gt500's to swap the 13-14 headlights in . Again these harnesses I make are 100% plug and play . No wiring for the customer and no splicing you keep your OEM stock harness intact . I been selling these harness to do the conversion on Facebook forums I follow . If anybody is interested pls let me know

This is a 11" 5.0 that had OEM halogen H13 and I swapped the 13-14 OEM HID light in one side and the 11-12 OEM HID to show my working harness and flawless product .
