if the vette had 600 rwhp that race would have been much much worse. Your average 600ish rwhp GT500 is going to trap mid to high 120's. A 600+ rwhp vette can trap 140. Looks like that vette was 132-134 trap. i'd guess 520-540 rwhp. probably 150 crank hp shot.

Think about it their are plenty of threads on here and vids on youtubes about stock C6 Z06 vs stock 13/14 GT500 and the general consensus that it is a drivers race with a slight edge to the 500. Well C6 Z's make 450 rwhp. I would say 100-150 shot max. Not many people run huge shot's on the C6's the manifold can be prone to puddling. I was running 175 rwhp shot on my old vette and i was like one of three guys doing it on corvetteforum

my GT500 has almost as much hp and is a lot lighter and my 515 rwhp vette eats it exactly like that.

Ah... good to know, thanks!

Nice run, and I'd be willing to bet that the Corvette probably could've given you a good run without the nitrous. LS3s with those mods can trap 122-125mph.

For the question about the 50 less tq. I believe on a semi cool 5.8L Trinity motor the computer limits throttle position to a certain percentage 85%? Once the motor is warm, it allows for 100% open throttle.

I was able to get a hold of a few people (Good folks out at Lethal) and found out that the stock ECU just limits TQ in various situations as a "safety measure". Only way to get out of it is a tune to remove it. The 13/14 Shelby's have so many of these little things it's a little ridiculous.
