I recently got a really good deal on a used Mustang GT, car is in great shape however I have what appears to be an oil leak coming from one of the VCT sensors on the passenger valve cover (VCT closest to the strut tower)

Do these engines leak a lot in that location? Any fixes? Should I just replace all the valve cover gaskets?

You can just replace that gasket. No need to replace the other ones unless its leaking. Ford has a reusable rubber gasket for the valve cover, no need to replace unless its torn.

That being said. Could also be underlying issues.
Does it run smooth?
Did you do a compression check or leak down test?
Like reaper said is it boosted?

The car is bone stock other than axle back resonator delete and a roush intake.

Oil change was done prior to me buying it.

What are the chances it was just spillage? Car has 19000 miles approx.

I would clean it good make sure the oil level is good and drive it. Keep your eyes on it they are not known for leaking.

Cleaned it drove it a few k, got on it a few times no more issues. Hoping the burning oil smell goes away soon it looks like it went under the coil cover and ran along the length of the cam cover and dripped on the header.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. Leaks are not common in the coyotes. I would still watch it for a while just to be sure.
