2015 GT 6r80 Hard Downshifts

hey everyone,

recently a tuned a 2015 GT Automatic, and i noticed that when slowing down the car downshifts a bit harsh, i tried several methods even kept the torque management stock and trans pressure stock and its still the same.

i figured it could be something mechanical, we checked the oil and the mount, both are fine .. what am i missing?

the car got a one piece driveshaft but it shouldn't cause this as far as i know

apperantly, i have my doubts that it could be OSS shift related, i'm working on figuring it out and i will update everyone for future knowledge.

My 6r80 has hard downshifts as well and its been tuned by two very reputable tuners and each time it does the same. Its just the way its calibrated. Its normal.

apparently yes it's normal, however i think and i'm not 100% sure yet until i load the tune into my Customer's Car that i got it figured out and found the reason for it.

i will update the thread if this worked.
