I'm thinking about heading over there tomorrow during a parts run to find out more information in person. I'll see if these part numbers match up, if not I'll at least write it down.

Is yours a regular 15 short block or is there something different about it? Is it maybe a replacement for the boss guys or do they still make the boss short block?
Has Boss/F150 rods. It was still in the crate. Just removed enough plastic to see the oil filter adapter.
It has hypereutectic/cast pistons. Not forged. Here is a pretty good explanation. According to Ford Racing they are better than the pistons that came in my '12. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypereutectic_piston
It will be a couple of weeks before my guy starts on the build. OTOH it is way too hot to race anyway.
