    This care has been sitting in Northern NY for a while now, where the heart of snowmobiling is and feet of snow. Small little dealership and not sure why he has this here. Figured I would pass to you all.

    I’m surprised he’s asking that much over. They are in the middle of nowhere, by farmers, and snowmobile country. Just weird.

    I just saw another one 2 miles from my house. It’s at Caskinette Ford in Carthage, NY. Red and I think it had black stripes. I didn’t go look at it, was there for another deal.

    When I got my ‘17 back in early Nov, above MSRP wasn’t even a discussion. There was no mark up on the car; advertised, hidden, or otherwise.

    Got this email today car was on thier website at MSRP

    $50,000 ADM !!!!!!

    Good morning Philip;
    We just received notification from Ford that you did an internet inquiry on our Gt350R. The vehicle is still available at this time and is selling for $ 114,090. Since you are New York there would be no additional tax or registration fee's. Please let us know what other questions we can answer for you.

    Thank you !

    Are you hell bent on buying new?

    There's hundreds of barely used 350's on the market. It's not hard to find a less than 10k mileage used 350 for $10k less than MSRP. Finding in the particular color/proximity from you starts to get a little more challenging, but if you're patient, you can find a car that's sat in a garage and is barely broken in for $10k under what you'll pay for new on the lot.

    If you buy from an individual the reduction is even greater, but obviously the particulars get even more restrictive in availability.

    I'll never again buy a brand new car. The moment it leaves the lot with your signature the value drops by several grand. Let some other guy buy one for his wife and never drive it and turn it in and take the $10k you save and dump it into mods.

    That tops the worst mark up I had previously seen. Local dealer had an R with a $40K mark up. It sold. No idea on the details of the deal/sale, but she's gone.

    It's a crime not to separate a fool from his money. And there's lots of people with more money than sense.

    I gamble a lot. Over the years, my relationship with money and my attitude toward money has changed immensely. Gambling, more than any other activity, shows you, demonstrates to you the various ways people look at money and look at it differently.

    It's difficult for people to imagine the decisions made for people with WAY MORE money. You can go to a casino where people are desperately seeking a table that's a $5 minimum, because $5/hand is enough to make a dent in what they can afford to lose, and you can walk by people who have so much money, the casino has secured a private room for them where dealers stand, just in case the person wants to play (sometimes all day and the person never shows up). To those people, playing $5/hand is not only a waste of time, it doesn't even begin to illicit the desired euphoria of gambling because winning $5 is about as emotional to them as it would be for you or I to win .001 pennies. Imagine if I told you that you could play a game where if you won a thousand hands in a row, you'd make an entire penny. Or conversely, a game where if you lost 1000 hands in a row, you'd lose an entire penny. It would be useless to you. And THAT is how much money some people have and how they see the world.

    I guess what I'm saying is that there's people out there that look at the price and vomit and others who look at the price and it's like you or I looking at a piece of bubble gum being $.02 or $.03. There aren't many of them out there, but those are the people these prices are aimed at.
