Holy shit!

That’s fuggin’ nutz!

At what point do you need new half shafts? Driveshaft?

Congrats - that’s amazing.

Sorry for not knowing...but is that on 93 or E85 or race gas?

E85.

Everything drivetrain wise needs upgraded lol. Half’s and driveshaft and probably trans on borrowed time at the 913 level for sure.

I keep it at 7 psi driving around though because any more than that and it’s worthless on the street.

Got 2 passes in today before they kicked me out.

ET’s sucked again, but new best mph of 146.8.

I’m leaving on 7psi and switching to 11 psi half track.

I really need to grab a 17” set up for the rear.

Wow. Impressive.
Cut that 60 back and you are knocking on 9s door.

Thanks. yeah with any sort of decent 60, it's an easy 9 sec car. Hell it'll probably trap 150 if i can get it out of the hole and 150 is enough for a high 8.

Oh well... street car! Here's a vid of one of the passes today.

My two sons are recording the video.. lol

Backhalf mph is solid man, that’s gotta be a roll monster. Easy 9s once you figure out the launch.
Where the good burnout? I thought they have line lock? Set it and light those skins up hard :)
AMS 500 boost controller is pretty affordable and allows a launch boost curve based on time. I used it successfully as did my brother until upgrading, just a thought. Or 17s as mentioned :)
Good luck.

Figured I'd update this thread for the little s550 traffic this site might get. Could be some answered questions for folks.

Cliffs: Motor popped almost 2 years ago destroying the block and one cylinder head. Bought all parts to build a forged short block along with 2 new heads. Could not find motivation to put the bitch together until recently. FFWD to today, car should be ready to start in a few weeks. Runner before summer with any luck.

Motor build consists of:

--new gen 3 block
--2 new gen 3 heads
--new head gaskets
--new gen 3 crank
--Manley H tuff rods
--Mahle forged "drop in" pistons
--FRPP forged oil pump gears
--MMR billet crank gear
--MMR valve springs/retainers (6.5 grams lighter than stock EACH)
--ARP head studs

At the time I bought all the parts, there was no inflation and coyote stuff is/was pretty cheap. Im into this motor build for less than $4000 being I am assembling everything myself.

I also decided to upgrade a few parts while the car is down.

--new Treadstone 1245R intercooler
--new BMR drag K member (this will make routing IC piping MUCH easier
--new Marco (Italian-made) bronze helical gear oil scavenge pump (much quieter) that can run 100% duty cycle
--new 20" Forgestart CF10 gloss black wheels

What's up bud?

I'd be happy if it made 1100. That's my goal. Not sure if my fuel system will support that though. Still on the ID1050's/return system.

Killer build. Congrats. Wish I had an extra set of 1300s for you.
