Yeah man, crazy 16.5/14.6 combo!
I think your turbo idea is awesome, especially with DCT.

Ya, I could see just staying dct... It’s not worth the time or hassle to downgrade to a manual. Honestly, even if a manual is optional, the dct makes sense here.

I’d love to find ways to get it down to 3500lbs...

No word on the OPG but the rods, pan, and block galleys/passageways might have been improved.:)

Very impressed so far with the package. Still looking forward to full Ford debut tomorrow AM!
Power, weight, price, performance all TBD but the package is right.
Might be the perfect street and top speed toy.
I’m sure it’ll respond to mods well and as I don’t plan to drag race this one hard, the basics of more boost, mild intake/exhaust and octane/tuning should be enough.
Whatever they rate it at is only suggestion, as I’m expecting 800rwhp pump E85 in a conservative but complete tuning package.
Can’t wait to see if we got billet OPGs and a block/rotating assembly that can handle that power!

I’m dying to learn more about the engine hardware. Interested to hear about OPG’s, rods and pistons, and block upgrades.

It’ll likely only be a tune and pulley away from 800whp.

Gonna be a brute for sure.

Easy weight stuff is already done:
-aluminum block
-light front clip
-wheels
-driveshaft

Short of tiny brakes/drag wheels, and a gutted interior, I don’t see much to be whittled out.

Full header back o/r exhaust may drop 50lbs... trunk lining and spare kit another 10, pull out the interior you’ll ditch 200lbs but have a disagreeable street car.

The hubs, spindles, suspension, coolers, brakes, necessitated 20” wheels, sc system, dct all add up.

Great news is this is 4000lbs of well honed and engineered machinery

As I alluded to in the other thread, what's this cars goal? Track or strip? It's been such a secret.
What's it's primary goal?
You can't do both well, so which way does it go?
Just a street bruiser in the end? If so, that'll do.

I’m close! Waaay off (so far) in power numbers, but I’m close on 1/4 and trap speed!

Here’s from today’s front page article here on svtp!

So far 10.80@133+, I was guessing 10.75@135 magazine times.

Being an auto with launch control, I think magazines will have a harder time screwing this up.
