A 2:52.50 lap at VIR’s Grand Course is very quick for a four-door luxury sedan like the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. For reference, Car and Driver managed a lap of 2:56.8 in the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V on the same 4.2-mile Grand Course back in 2016 – a car that has 178 horsepower more than the CT4-V Blackwing. It’s also a faster time than the magazine posted in numerous supercars, including the 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition (2:53.2), Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV (2:53.9) and Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2:54.6).
