Congratulations! And you're going to get it almost overnight! Can't believe how expensive all but the base models of vehicles have become. Prices just keep climbing.

I've had mine since May in Agate Black. I removed all of the decals, plus XPEL PPF the front end and fender flares in the gloss so the truck looks as if the flares are gloss painted also. Pay attention to the driver's side exhaust tip over time, on mine the powder coating slowly washed off and Ford had to replace the tailpipe. The dealer replaced it on Monday of this week. Hopefully you won't have this problem. The dealer asked me a few weeks ago if I'd like a 2025 R as they'd recently received the first allocation for next years model. There are very small differences with the biggest being the removal of the red accents in the seats and the V8 badging of the driver's side of the console. I'll keep mine

I've got 8400 miles on mine and absolutely love it, I don't doubt you'll enjoy it also. The Advance Trac(traction control) is fairly aggressive if you get too much rear wheel speed and will cut the power to the point of bogging if you try to use full throttle from a standing start, yet 1/2 to 3/4 throttle is a lot of fun. And if you really want to torch those big tires you can always turn the Advance Trac off. The long trailing arm, coil spring, rear suspension very much keeps the truck going where you have it pointed while doing this. I've thought about going out to Tooele Valley Utah for the free Raptor Assault course to see exactly what and how to use all of the features these trucks have to offer, especially since they don't give you an owner's manual for you to read how to even enter into them. As an R owner you are given the course in an R with other R owners to play with in the desert to see exactly how much truck you bought

Thanks this is awesome feedback. I looked into the raptor assault and it looks like they have not posted the 2025 schedule yet. I had mine out in the snow yesterday and the slippery mode and it was a lot of fun. I’m currently exploring options to get the windows tinted. I have been getting some quotes from $600 to $1000 for all the windows to be tinted in ceramic. I’m curious if you have any feedback on the heads up display and window tinting or any aftermarket tint you would select or have installed?

Won't affect it at all.

Should be in the $600-700 range for all windows and sunroof...another $200 or for the windshield.

Thanks! Any input you could also give me as to the bedliner? This is the first truck I bought that doesn’t have one. The dealer was set up with Ziebart, but I have seen some wild things working for a franchise dealership who used them in the past. I know they’re all individual locations, but I didn’t know if there was anything that would work particularly well with all the nooks and crannies and accessories inside the raptor r bed?

In my opinion, it's way better to shop installers, not necessarily the material. Some installers are garbarge, others are great. Any more, the product has a warranty if there's an issue.

I used XPEL Prime XR Plus on all of the windows. 70% on the windshield, which has no effect on the Heads Up Display. Your choice in sunglasses and how good the polarization of them is what will affect the brightness of the HUD. I wear Maui Jim sunglasses which will cause the HUD to be dim even with the brightness adjusted to the highest setting, yet I can still see most of the features, the cruise control and the turn signal get lost due to the colors being dull compared to the white with these sunglasses.

Windshield 70%, I probably would go with 55% if I had it to do over
Front side windows 20%
Rear side windows 5%
Sunroof 5%
Rear windows 5%

I spent $900 to do all of them.

The reason I went with XPEL Prime XR Plus is that it has the highest Infrared Rejection rate of all of the brands I looked at, along with a very high UV Rejection rate of 99%. The truck is black and you can park it outside for 20-30 minutes on a hot summer day and the interior will not be a blast furnace when you open the door. In fact it surprises me how little the temperature has increased in that time considering the color. A link below will show you the specifications for the film.

The Raptor Assault is shutdown for the winter. The first classes I believe for next year are usually offered in the 3rd week in March if I remember correctly from what I was told. I talked to someone at the school because I needed to know if the Raptor R and Raptor classes were held together. My brother bought a Raptor and we were trying to see if the classes were held together so we could be together except for the driving of the trucks. That didn't work out as they do not have the same classroom instruction and the driving takes place at different locations even though both classes are being held at the same times on some weeks

As far as a spray in bed liner I've used both Line-X and Rhino Liner with great results. Unfortunately the fact the bed liners are coming sprayed in from the factory 50% of the time I've noticed that in my area that some of the installers have disappeared. I live in a rural area and I assume they lost a lot of work when the factory started offering spray in liners. Expect to pay around $600

Glad to see that you're using that bad boy in the "wild" where it thrives. Such a good looking truck! Enjoy!!!

Absolute beast in the snow. “Slippery” mode checks all the wet/ ice condition boxes. Enjoying the snow here in OHIO

I'll bet that semi driver in the first photo wished he had a "slippery mode". Be safe! Which I'm sure you'll be when out and about in your Raptor.
