Does anyone know the external dimensions of a 302 Coyote motor. I know its pretty close to a Modular but I would like to get the exact dimensions. I cannot find them for the life of me on internet searches.

it IS a modular.. (modular means that Ford can go from one engine to another 4.6/5.0/5.4/6.8 without changing much/anything on the production line)

as far as the external size, unknown

If you want to know if it will fit in any 96-04 stangs then yes it will. It even has the same motor mount points. If I remember correctly the only issue was the hood.

its for someone who is looking for a motor for a hotrod. So exact dimensions are needed.

Actually, that's incorrect. Modular refers to the components used within the engine, not the vehicle itself. With so many moving parts in the OHC motors, they wanted to make sure to maintain commonality among the platforms.

Yep, I've heard just like a 2v but a bit thinner
