Just because I kept up with 1 383 doesnt mean I can keep up with all of them. Im sure if he had slicks it would be a whole different story. I do have a stock engine. I wasnt expecting much on my end but was surprised at the results of the race. I knew i wasnt gonna win from the begining. oh and I checked with the guy and it was a 97 383 lt1. I thought he had said 99..not a camaro guy but i can tell you the difference between a 97, 98, and 99 cobra.

Or maybe it was a v6 99 camaro? Lol I know I can't wait to get the LT1 running in my 96 camaro (head gasket blew after I bought it lol) but I only traded my fourwheeler for the car so it was worth it. I plan on going 383 by next year. Just seems cheaper to get ~400rwhp out of this lt1 than it does my 96 cobra

That has to be the most mildly build/worst running 383 LT1 in the world.

My 97 LT1 would run door to door with a buddy's bolt on 98 Cobra

Sounds about right. Seen plenty of 383 LT1's built ass backwards. Most of the time it's because of the retard owner spinning a rod bearing and rebuilding the bottom end with a cheap ass 383 kit. Doesnt do any good with no other mods lol.
