I know I am late to the party but I recently was able to get a 2013 Taurus Police Interceptor with the ecoboost motor. I too have had some desire for a stronger trans, since I am approaching 90k miles. What I have been looking at have been the DCT from Ford in the explorers and if I remember, Volvo had some sharing DCT transmissions that can take a built motor. If you have more info to share let me know!
