I must have missed the info in the build about the trans.. i just assumed it was getting a T56 of some sort.

You think the 3650 will be up to the task?

No doubt. It’s rated to hold slightly more power and torque than a magnum with the same OD Gear.

I’d probably take that
Cashiers check tomorrow? :)

On that 3650, those built units are stout and shift great. I drove one built by Bob Hanlon and was very impressed. Those gears are huge.

That turbo is going to sound killer at full boost.
My brother with a single cast 75mm on a stock ‘04 Cobra motor went 9.00 with about 22psi, so that billet 76 will do all right. Could hit 4-digits with the stick and good fuel.
When the dyno session?

Publicly posting sale thread?
or....
It’s basically a semi private “pre-sale” at this point. I REALLY prefer a fellow enthusiast (who doesn’t plan to daily the car) end up with it. I can’t hand the keys over until I know it’s 100% as far as tune and any remaining kinks are concerned

You bet! I’m detailing it over these next couple days for that very purpose. As for the price...I couldn’t justify any less than mid to high 30’s. It’s a brand new car in every sense of the word. One that I’d comfortably place in the top 1-2% of modified new edge mustangs in the world. Please understand I’m not being arrogant in saying that. I’m being objective based on real, in depth experience. For comparison sake my TT DSG car (as much as I loved it) pales in comparison in every measurable

with all that said I’d probably entertain another clean/project car plus cash just as I did with the last build

I can't believe you're not going to enjoy her for a little bit after all that painstaking work and detail.
I'm sure most will totally agree with you. In fact, I agree with you. That being said, it's the process of turning nothing into something that I enjoy. A car is just a car to me. A build is a combination of art and therapy to me. Sad/funny but very accurate. There's only one car in the entire world I'm emotionally attached to. I'm proud of what has been accomplished but I'm equally happy to let someone else enjoy the end result. I've made some pretty good friends as a result. Bonus

PS if I don't move onto the next one I can't start a new thread :D lol
