Hey all,

I always see ads for high-end Corvette suspension pieces for '70 Camaros, it seems like they have a little bit stronger of an aftermarket as far as good suspension kits for the early Camaros. I want an early-model track car that can hang with modern vehicles...the Evos, Z06s, etc. I'm kinda swayed towards an early Camaro because I always see those ads.

So if I had a '69 or '70 Mustang, where could I go for a shithot suspension setup that would allow me to keep up with some of these crazy cars on the track?

Also, anyone have any input/thoughts on the air suspension systems that have been getting alot of coverage lately in magazines? The adjustability looks really nice... I'm really going for a gmachine look and feel.

Also, anyone know what a '69-'70 Mustang fastback weighs?

I kinda think those road race '70 Camaros with the spoiler and side pipes look pretty slick as well...hard choosing between two beautiful cars.

Give these a try as starting pionts. Some good tips that still wok on prep is out of the original Boss 302 Trans Am chassis book. Tells how to weld up the frame, body, and reinforce some pionts on the suspension.

But a word of warning before you head over there. READ - SEARCH -SEARCH AGAIN, before posting. You will get booted right off the site if you haven't done an extensive search of past threads.

As for wieght I don't remember it off hand but will look around for my old lists.
