So I’m looking to get back into another mustang but this time try my hand with an auto. I live in Houston and have to make frequent trips to the med center which always gets me stuck in traffic making my decision to go auto a lot easier. I’ve heard great things about the 10r80 transmissions, but haven’t heard as much from the 6r80 group. If you have either one, please list pros and cons of both. Thanks!
6r80 vs 10r80

6r80 is still the fastest Ford auto trans. All the billet hard parts are made for the 6r80. Im sure eventually they will be available for the 10r80 but as of now the 6r80 is the fastest.
