The power to weight on the C6 is hard to beat. M4 was impressive as well.
As always the C6Z doesn’t disappoint. Gen 3 TT A10 is a force to be reckoned with. GN was awesome.

I remember this GT500 was for sale awhile ago, I'm assuming someone else owns it now. Either way it needs more power to keep up with those guys, but it does look amazing with the wide body and Shelby1000 hood.

Great vid. Thanks for posting. Looks like a lot of fun. We used to street race almost every night way back in the 70's, all 1/4 mile stuff. 500hp made you a King back then, nowadays that's nothing, LOL.
I think thats the problem with those GT500s. Once you are going up against cars with 900rwhp+ cars you gotta up your power too, GT500 is on the heavier end on too. Not as heavy as new GT500 tho.
Yup, I know first hand lol, if a C6Z makes 600whp you better be 750whp if you want a chance at pulling away from him, even than it might not happen.
Yea, but the simplicity to make 750 on a gt500 is what's nice. An afternoon of mods in your garage and your good to go.
Edit: that's a fully built katech c6z. Big money. Also did the gt500 have 3.31 or 3.73?
I agree, it's not hard to make 700+whp with a GT500.

C7Z is broken. Stock blower cars are 750whp with e85, 2650 cars should be in the 900 range.
Stock cam is holding him back. A new cam demands more fuel from the HPFP. I’ve seen Bolton, cammed C7Z’s make 800 with meth. A cam would add an easy 100rwhp or more.
That M4 was dope! GT500 losing 1/4 car length each shift. After a few shifts that's like a whole car. Hard to beat an auto unless ur making quite a bit more HP.
Im sure the 5.0 has the potential to make 1200 hp but no way was it making it that night. He would have trapped 165+ at that power level for that long of a pull.
And that GN looks corny with GNX flares.
Good video. That is the lightened C6Z that has run some higher hp cars and come out on top many times, isnt it? I'm a fan, just trying to make sure it's the same one.
