Agreed, while a mustang with a flowmaster/mac setup is so distinguishable I never liked the hollow sound.

Problem is that this chambered exhaust system sounds the best on older style engines. The newer engines, esp 4v platform has to much burble so the note is slightly distorted. Excellent on the 2V platform.

I run macs plus h pipes on my 4v cobra. Love the chambered sound and lost the aquarium burble when I added longtubes.

Flowmasters should stay with pushrod motors. All mod motors sound bad IMO with any chambered muffler.

Flows are different then mac's. Mac's have straight thru design.

I'll take my 2Vs with Flowmaster 10s/40s and my 4Vs with Stingers. I'll have my 4V 5.0s with earplugs.
