'86 Foxbody Swap Project

I'm currently in the process of an '86 Coupe from a 4 cylinder to a V8. I've been overseas since earlier in the year. While I've been gone, I had the car repainted. The painter extended the black stripe on the hood and I think it came out pretty good. Much better than factory. I'm hoping to get started on it in the next few weeks. Anyway, I just wanted to share for those who want to follow along. Hope you like it!

Still undecided, but most likely a street/strip built 306.

I wanted to coyote swap since I have my old block out of my 2015 from when I had that built, but it's just not in the budget.

Nothing wrong with a nice little pushrod! However, the Coyote's are sweet!

I did a little work on it today. Took care of the outer window trim to replace the dry rotted original stuff. Going to be ripping the rear out soon.

Thanks! I had it painted while I was overseas. I should've waited because now I have to be extra careful when working on it not to mess up the paint

pulled the engine and trans out. time to clean it all up and paint under the hood

Yes I have a cowl panel to fix before I paint mine.

I should have the 8.8" all bolted in this weekend, then it's on to prep under the hood for the new engine!
