Great Run man!

I was usin some old MT 26 by 8.5 slicks. I was launching around 3500-3700rpms to get those 60ft times. If I had a better slick I'm sure I could've gotten some 1.6 60ft times.

Bone stock down to the paper filter, mufflers, timing all from factory(back in 1998). Tires were original Goodyears. I ran a 14.4 in the summer heat of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Most of the LS1 powered Camaros were running 13.8 or .9 in the heat that night. They usually run Mid - Low 13s at the Tulsa track in good air. I think as my car sits right now, in good air, I could run a high 13.

I raced a 95 GT when I ran the 14.4 and he ran a 15.4 or .5. I was a long ways in front of him when I crossed the line :D

man theres all these drag racing related posts!
first at track with cobra, not to mention a supercharged car.
times in sig. but heres the combo:
stock- H/C/I, MAF, injectos(running a fmu),fuel pump,
aftermarket-3.55 gears(cross the line in 4th approx.5700rpm), hurst short throw, FMS. shortys,h-pipe,ultra-flows, 70mm TB., suspenion listed in sig., timing locked at 28* pulling out down to 20* at full boost (lil bit of race gas too)
all done on bridgestone potenza S-02's 255/40/17, stock wheels
cold day in march approx. 45-50 degrees-made all the difference

i ran 13's "stock" in my 92 gt with only a k&n stock panel filter, underdrive pulleys, short belt, timing at 14*
my friend the bastard ran a 13.84 to be exact in it!
this was back in like 1996-97 at Cecil co. raceway MD.
so i definently believe a 93 cobra could run 13.6's stock

I have that article saved on my web page

http://1993snake.corral.net/

it is on the page titled "Photo2 Page" The images are scanned full size, so it is not dialup friendly. They ran 13.75 in showroom trim and a 13.47 with slicks, timing, short belt and some other quick mods.

Times are in my sig. That was on the stock motor (except F-cam and ARP head bolts) with 185,000 miles on it (my car now has 197,000 on it).

I now have a .040 over stock block forged 8.6:1 pistons, F-cam, ARP bolts, with everything else stock (put a hole in #8 and cracked the original block).

I haven't run it yet on the new motor. I'm hoping for 10's though.

Here is my car:
